Dr. Tim van Geldertvg@vangeldermonk.com Tim van Gelder MA PhD GAICD is a founder and a Principal Consultant. He is also Melbourne Enterprise Fellow in the School of BioSciences, University of Melbourne, and a lead investigator in the SWARM Project. He is a cognitive scientist specializing in reasoning and decision making. He pioneered the mapping techniques which underpin many of van Gelder & Monk's activities, and as founder and CEO of Austhink Software, created the Rationale and bCisive software packages. He has provided consulting and training services to many large organisations. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and on the Editorial Board of the journal Informal Logic. In 2001 he was awarded a Eureka Prize for his work in critical thinking. |
Dr. Richard de Rozariordr@vangeldermonk.com Richard de Rozario PhD has held analytical roles for over 25 years in computing, operations and risk. Most recently, he led the operational risk scenario modelling at ANZ, facilitating knowledge elicitation and building quantitative models for extreme events such as pandemics, cybercrime and product failure. Previously, he has worked in a wide variety of analytical and consulting roles across industry. These roles included strategic planning of payments technology, testing of airspace simulation software and advanced schedule optimisation in IT, logistics and manufacturing. Additionally, he has run hundreds of workshops in related technical topics. Richard studied computer information systems in the USA and holds a post-graduate diploma in Market Modelling from Swinburne University, as well as a PhD in Applied Ontology (information structures and causal logic) from the University of Melbourne. |
